The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a globally recognized qualification for school students, typically aged 14 to 16. It is offered to students to prepare them for International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or GCE/ IAL/ A Levels. 

The IGCSE is predominantly exam-based and is designed to test students’ knowledge in individual subjects. IGCSE assessment is administered by different examination boards, including London Examinations, Edexcel International (Edexcel) and the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
